The first quarter of 2024 has been eventful for music and podcasts applications on the iOS platform in France. As per the latest data from Sensor Tower, we've observed noteworthy trends among the top players in this category.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast, hailing from France, showed consistent revenue throughout the quarter, with a peak of over $1.1M in the final week of March. Downloads remained stable, averaging around 18K per week, while weekly active users saw a slight decline from 1.57M to 1.52M.

YouTube Music experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a notable increase to $160K in the week of February 5th. Downloads for the app peaked at over 17K in the first week of January and March, while active users grew to reach 1.8M by the end of March.

Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts witnessed modest revenues, with a high of $47K in the last week of February. The app's downloads saw a peak of 11.5K in mid-February, and active users varied, reaching over 161K in early March.

SoundCloud: Discover New Music maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at $33K in the first week of February. Downloads showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, with active users experiencing a high of 1.54M mid-quarter.

Lastly, Napster presented a smaller scale of operations. While revenue peaked at nearly $19K in the first week of January, downloads remained below 1K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight decrease, ending at just under 29K in late March.
